About Our Council

Local councils are the basic unit of the Knights, made up of Leadership and Members. Rosary Cathedral Council #16264 works to assist with the needs of our Cathedral, its ministries, and our local community consistent with the principles of the Order.

With active participation, our Council can work wonders; in fact, with many of our programs, we can help change the community, town, city or neighborhood in which we live. However, it all depends on people taking the initial idea, modifying it to suit specific situations and local needs, then implementing the program in the way it works.

Our Council is consistently evaluating the needs of their community and Parish community, and implementing those programs and activities that are most needed in their area.

The Knights of Columbus Faith in Action Programs are designed to engage our Council members in various activities across a host of categories. And we look forward to serving your needs as well.

Retention Chairman

“The Church’s deepest nature is expressed in her three-fold responsibility: of proclaiming the word of God, celebrating the sacraments and exercising the ministry of charity. These duties presuppose each other and are inseparable”.
Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, Deus Caritas Est, 25

“It is Jesus who stirs in you … the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.”
Saint John Paul II

“When Charity is deeply rooted in the soul it shows itself exteriorly: there is so gracious a way of refusing what we cannot give, that the refusal pleases as much as the gift.”
Saint Therese of Lisieux
